North Face Nuptse jacket - anyone tried a Boys XL?

I missed out on the half price Women's Nuptse jacket at Go Outdoors but I see the boys XL has near enough the exact same measurements as a women's medium.

The Boys version is slightly different with 600 down rating, not 700, but has an RRP of £70 rather than the womens £150.

Has anyone else gone for the cheap option? Would you recommend? I will probably need to order online rather than find a store that stocks it.

I must confess, I often buy GAP and Next teenager hoodies and joggers as they fit me well (I'm a size 10).

worth a try - I ski in a boys' age 15-16 jacket and while not as figure-flattering as a women's one it does the job.
I assume you are not over-endowed in the nork dept?

MrsBadger, thx for your reply. I still have BF norks but they seem to be heading south anyway.

blanche - are you actually going to wear it for skiing? Or just for general warmth day to day? If so, down rating won't be too much of an issue, imo.

Do you have to pay for delivery/returns? If not (or if extra is minimal) I would be tempted to give it a go.
