need new trousers for dd1, but Boden are out of stock (unsurprisingly)

dd1 has had some lined cord baggies for 3 years now. I had to buy them big because she was on the large side in cloth nappies when she was little.

so she is now in her 3rd winter of wearing them, and they finally are getting a bit small.

but they are very warm. and hardly show any wear at all (dd1 is not easy on clothes)

she spends a LOT of time outdoors at school (SN school, so lots of time gardening, digging around, looking after horses etc) and so I like her to be in good warm clothes. she cannot tell me if she is cold, so really need them to be warm.

so, to the point.

Boden are sold out of them now - where can I find similar? like these.

everyhting I have looked at is painfuilly thin - although boys trousers seem to be a little better. whilst not holding out for hearts and flowers, I would prefer not to buy sludge brown etc.

so, where should I be looking?

Have you tried ebay? My daughter has these trousers in 3 colours and they are just fab I agree. What size/colour were you looking for?

don't care what colour really - not neon pink, and not too boy-ish. other than that, anyhting goes

she's still fitting into her age 4's (albeit not turned up anymore!) so 5's, I guess.

was also going to suggest ebay. Can get either brand new boden or second hand. My dd also has those trousers. They are her favourite ones!

Well, no luck on ebay - just one pair, flagged as age 4-5, am assuming it's a 4 and have sent a query to ask.

Thanks PCPlum, but have not had great experience with Jojo stuff recently - weird sizing (which would work in dd1's favour I suppose, as everythinglast year was absolutely massive) and it hasn't washed well either which surprised me a lot.

will go back to hunitng for similar elsewhere - someone else must make warm trousers!

Have you tried phoning Boden directly? They sometimes have odd things that don't show on the website. Keep checking on ebay - there are bound to be some soon. It might be worth checking the size of the 4-5 pair as I think they come up quite large. have you had any response from the seller yet?
