i need a warm coat its urgent please help

ok so i own plenty of cool dressy ect ect coats none of which keep me warm which is stupid as dh and i go 'out' all of about once a month. most of our time is spent walking with dc's in the cold cold windy wet wilderness and all i have is my animal fleece to keep me warm, i really need a 'cool' (i dont mind lots of colours and patterns ect in a roxy-animal sort of fashion not nasty eighties) warm waterproof jacket for someone size 8 and short preferably fitted reather than sack like oh and im skint so around the £50 mark am i asking to much? and can anyone please help as im about lose limbs to frost bite

Try TK Maxx. You can now buy ski wear online from them and they have the best prices for branded cold weather gear, imo.

North Face do some lovely fitted jackets at the moment but they are around the £120 - 150 mark.

Anything here? or are they too padded - some are more streamlined than others.

DH hates it and says I look like a witchetty grub but it is so warm and cosy, I don't care although I do see what he means
