any bra recommendations or tricks with tape??? There seem to be alot of strapless dresses out there at the moment which isnt always great for the big busted but even worse with the after effect of children arrrraaaagggghhhh. Should i duck tape them araound and into position?

The only way to make big post-baby boobs look good in a strapless dress is to not wear one. Sorry.

Not a flattering look to have them forced into position. Then you have the inevitable hoiking up of the dress all night.

There are loads of dresses out there which would look fab on busty chicks.

Give us more information and we'll find you some!

I have seen some bras offering "support" plus those weird plastic stick on shape things but really I have given up on the strapless since having a baby...although my big busted friend has a mega corset she got from Rigby and Peller years ago and always wears it under evening gowns but it is built like kevlar and I must admit I wouldn't fancy it.

Her boobs stick out like a shelf and are not particularly saggy so maybe that is how it works for her.

...and most dresses seem to be designed for young girls with perky boobs, not us post baby types!

ALmost the entire set of Next evening dresses this year fit into this category.

bunny is right

if you MUST wear strapless you need a decent bra, like this or this

no tape. remember when you look at the photos online that these models do not have children

large post (ie the op is a long one)

children boobs

how to make them look good in a strapless dress.....

MsDoctor · 02/12/2009 12:46

I too thought it was about children with boobs in a dress.....

If you can't support them (your breasts) don't leave it to tape......not nice.

Katz · 02/12/2009 12:46

post babies i have gone for scaffolding to get my bug boobs looking good in strapless or racer back dresses. I went for an ultimo basque which totally supports them and actually give them a fantastic shape and they aint going anywhere!

Katz · 02/12/2009 12:47

bug boobs mean big boobs! 34G to be exact

SunChaser · 02/12/2009 13:46

Sorry, I wouldn't even try.

Very few people can carry off strapless. Prob less than 10% of women I reckon! And the big-boobed among us are right out.

Bonsoir · 02/12/2009 13:49

Strapless isn't flattering at all unless you are very slim with great shoulder and firm breasts.

ShinyAndNew · 02/12/2009 13:54

A very good strapless bra stuck down with wig tape and stick the dress down with wig tape or you will end up hoiking them both up all night.

Mind you, the last time I got away with this I was 21, a size 8 and had only had one child.

Ronaldinhio · 02/12/2009 13:57

honestly do yourself a favour and accept that these are for the young and small/perky of nork

tethersend · 02/12/2009 13:58

The question is, why would you want to wear a strapless dress?

They are vile. On any size.

SunChaser · 02/12/2009 15:17

Even Michelle Obama wore one a while ago and looked awful despite her v toned figure. They kind of squish everything upwards!

Halter necks are the most flattering neckline IMVHO. Dunno about w big boobs tho - mine disappeared when I stopped BFing

borderslass · 02/12/2009 16:08

get a multi way bra they come with clear straps
