I have last season's racer pant and it is v comfy and flattering- perfect for gym. However, it's not something that'd keep you warm (at any speed) out in the elements. I like the zip pocket at the back of the running pant- brilliant idea for keeping the house key in... And all Sweaty Betty is stylish. I bet you can get away with no.2!
