Which on-line shops do nice size 6's?

Or alternatively halfway decent teen clothes - that aren't designed to make my DD wear:

1)Pale pink (or infact pretty much any shade of pink)
2)Black
3)clothes suitable for a hooker
4)designer/named
5)HSM/HM/Disney claptrap/TV tie-ins
6)Look like a 12yo dressed as as 43yo

Picky I know, but she does have a clear idea of what she wants & has made herself some clothes but would like to chose 'some from a shop'

How about Top Shop?

Some of it may be a little OTT for a 12 year old but there is plenty of other stuff to choose from and they definitely do a 6

Other place to try may be H&M or Zara. Zara's sizes come up small and they have the teen/younger range which I can't remember name of.....

Kookai do small sizes.
Ebay good for different stuff in all sorts of sizes. Look for Abercrombie & Fitch skirts - really pretty.
Any Japanese site - their sizes are tiny!

Bugger. Once again this eve, failed to read the OP thoroughly......Zara do not have an online shop but would still recommend a mooch in local store if you have one

Katymac - what kind of things does she like? I don't have a DD but when I trawl around the stores I despair for the mums and DDs out there who are trying to find something cool and not whore-ish for such a young age.

How about boyfriend cardi, top and skinny jeans type combos? If she likes dresses, then Top Shop are definitely the place to look. They do lots of day dresses which look fab with opaques/leggings and flat boots/converse.

Might it be worth looking in New Look? Not certain they do a size 6 though. Oh and Miss Selfridge - again be selective but there is plenty to choose from if one avoids the body-con dresses in there

She loves colour
She fancies chucky knitted jumpers
She has a few pinafores/tunics which she wore last year with tights & a polo neck but they are a bit short this year - & she feels tights aren't appropriate any more
I have picked her up 3 pair of trousers from Tesco but only expect 1 pair to fit her (black skinney jeans - which she will wear but she wants something bright to wear with it)

She gets so bored with it all - TopShop worries her (but I'm not sure why)

I was a size 6 last year and found that Topshop, Miss Selfridge and H&M were the main highstreet stores that offered it. I think River Island do, which may be more her thing? Oh, and New Look do a 6 as well. Sometimes size 6 stock runs out quickly, which is so annoying - I'm pleased to be a more common 8 now!

New Look do stock size 6, but in quite a limited range of styles. Also they tend to use 'vanity sizing' so a 6 will be more like an 8. If she's a true 6 then they might be too big.
