Yes it is worth the £££s. You can get decent cash for around £50 now- it is soft and warm.
try M&S, JLewis, Uniqlo for cheapish stuff.

Have you washed it yet? Do you sweat in it? Does it pile (or how do you call it when it gets pilling)?

I live in cashmere in the colder months. Totally worth it.

dry clean occasionally, otherwise hand wash cycle in machine with items in a laundry bag/ pillowcase

store with camphor balls

pills far less than nylony mix things

and feels like a treat, as well as being warm etc - practical and stylish, what more does one want?
and warmth without bulk too = plus 100 points!!

Anyone got the tesco cashmere joggers? any good? They look nice but I've not had knitted trousers before so no idea what to expect. I may yet chicken out and just get the hoody.
