what colour tights with this dress? orange purple or blue?

id love to get the orange tall boots but a bit too dear really.

I'd go with the blue. Orange tights could be fab, if they colour-match and you don't mind possible chicken-potential.

Chickens have slightly orange-coloured legs, non? So your child may look slightly chicken-ish. Personally, I have no objections to chicken-potential and dd1 used to have some fabbo orange tights!

thick black opaque tights and tall black boots, i know i'm a tart!

I think it depends on what colour shoes/boots. I think orange would look great, but then purple or blue would be a more toned down look.
