Where do I get one - please, my dd2 wants one for christmas...

and a swimming hat with her name on?

BUT do you really think it is a good idea depending on age of your DD2

What about stranger danger?

If her top says Sophie on the back and you are in a park somewhere anybody can call out her name and she will think they know her or are a friend of her parents

sorry to put a dampner on her idea but these kind of tops or hats do make me wonder

There's a stall in the middle of our shopping centre that does the tops - it appeared a couple of months ago. You pay per letter so best if your DD2 has a short name!

Anywhere that does logos on workwear should do them, if they don't do kids wear you can take your own in and just pay for the embroidery.

If you want transfers sports shops usually do them.

She has had novelty swimming hats but has requestee a named hat, I think she saw someone with one and liked it

yes but everyone else wears his clothes - I know a chap called Kelvin that has the same problem

Personalised swimming caps here but there's a £10 set up fee on top of the cost of the caps and a minimum order of 25.

www.swimshop.co.uk also do them but again has a minimum order quantity of 25 or 50 depending on the brand of cap.

If your DD has a common name then maybe you can sell on the other 24? Otherwise the Sharpie option is looking promising...
