Has anybody seen any good quality, long sleeved, scoop necked t-shirts anywhere? I probably need a grey one, a purple one and a burgundy one.

Not Gap as they are too short in the body and rubbish quality. Most of the ones on M&S site seem to have three-quarter sleeves, which I love - but my wrists have been cold.

white company had some...not sure if they still do.

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 18:37

Will have a look, thanks. I bet not purple though!

Next Directory/online? Think there were some in there but (sorry) don't have time to look for you.

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 18:42

Will have a peep - can't abide Next though so not overly hopeful. Sorry. And thanks.

jigsaw will have some but they will be megabucks

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 18:47

Can't afford megabucks.

Just looked and Topshop have got loads for a tenner a pop- look under basic tops. They look quite long and the ones in their Tall range definitely will be

What's the quality of the Topshop ones like? Am desperately hoping Marks have some and I've just missed them. Have had Dotty P's ones before and not liked - but will have another look.

white stuff?

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 19:07

We haven't got a White Stuff. Want to get some in town tomorrow as am desperate for them and nork issues and online shopping not a great combo.

H&M have some in at the mo; can only remember seeing black though...

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 19:09

This one in berry would be perfect if the sleeves were longer.

Lots on the Esprit website. I'd link you straight there but for some reason it won't link to the right page so...

Click "Women" at the top then click "t-shirts/tops" then "Plain long sleeves". Lots of colours and styles to choose from.

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 19:53

Ooh they look well worth a trip to HoF. Thank you. Good prices and I like the 'beautiful neckline' ones.

Have some from H&M (about £7.99), some from Uniqlo (probably the best but online not good and I don't know if you have a shop near you).

I have the Top Shop ones and they are very very thin - good for layering but I wouldn't wear them by themselves.

JaneiteMightBite · 27/11/2009 20:29

Thanks. Ok - you confirmed my instincts about Topshop. No Uniqlo near us anymore. Tne Espirit ones look the best so far - but some of the models on that site look beyond dreadful.

Can second the uniqlo heat tech ones tonnes of colours - it says 3/4 sleeve - but I have arms like a chimp and it comes to just before wrist. Plus if you look about theres usually offers...

vesela · 28/11/2009 09:29

I have a grey one from H&M. Actually I have two grey ones from H&M (am a sucker for anything grey marl) - one is a good fit and thick cotton, the other not so much. But the good one is the one I bought more recently so should hopefully still be around.

vesela · 28/11/2009 09:31

p.s. they're long in the body and def. long in the sleeve (my main criterion - I hate cold wrists). I'm pretty sure I saw a purple one, too.

Thank you both. Kettlewell no good as I want to buy in person. I looked in H&M but nothing did it for me in there. Espirit in House of Fraser had lots of very nasty skirts and embroidered tops but no plain long-sleeved tops. M&S had lots of three quarter sleeved ones but only horrible long sleeved ones. So I failed.
