blazer wearers - i have a question

so blazer type jackets are everywhere, someone else must have had this dilemma. what do you do when it's too cold to just wear a blazer? do you wear a coat over the top? or do you all drive/get taxis everywhere and never walk?

jumper underneath
or if it's that cold I wear a coat instead

heartofgold · 27/11/2009 14:22

lol @ mrs b was genuine question - i was thinking of the blazer as a part of your outfit, i.e. you wouldn't want to take it off when you get whereveritisyou'regoing - like those sequinny things you'd keep those on, right?

in which case jumper underneath would be too hot.

or a tux - you wouldn't take that off when you got there or would you?

Blazer? Why?

They are so boring...

LynetteScavo · 27/11/2009 18:20

Blazers are like ballet pumps....for certain seasons only. (or if you aren't walking in winter)

wonderingwondering · 27/11/2009 18:23

What are these blazers you mention? Examples please . I have yet to notice this trend.

DanDruff · 27/11/2009 18:30

They are very in in ENgland

DanDruff · 27/11/2009 18:31

chung

wonderingwondering · 27/11/2009 18:42

Oh. I like, I think. Wd be sort of a cardigan-type layer? So scarf for warmth if driving/inside, coat over the top if outside? The blazer isn't really structured or bulky.

I must go to shops soon, I am in England but that trend had completely passed me by.

Tizzyjacko · 27/11/2009 18:44

I often have to wear suits to work and just stick a coat over the top. Scarves hide any odd collar effects

heartofgold · 27/11/2009 18:47

i want a fake fur coat too but can't find what i want so have given up. would you wear OVER a blazer then dan?

they can't be not for winter, not when i've only just bought one [pout]

upahill · 27/11/2009 18:54

NOOOOOOOO You don't wear a top coat over a blazer unless your at high school and waiting for a bus on a rainy, dark morning at 7.45am like my DS!! For fashion purposes you suffer!!!!! (like I do - !!!!!)

heartofgold · 27/11/2009 18:58
