Prob pointless as I bet it's out of stock but I do love it. Have been wearing it now for about a month (I bought it in August I think ) instead of normal winter coat and it is so nice.

Cosy but not heavy or hot, waterproof (I think) plus hood if really pouring.

Whenever I wear it someone admires it (this is v unusual for me). In fact today someone liked it so much that she asked me where I got it, ("Boden, what's that then?" clearly not a MN-er) and tried it on too (we were at an event, not passing strangers in the street I hasten to add).

It's this one in the mad purple flower colour (ah yes I see that one now is out of stock! when in Aug it was the only one available) oh it is top.

I also have seen almost no-one wearing it which is always a bonus with a (ahem) noticeable garment like this.

it looks very ...er...practical for this wet weather.

Very very nice, I always get soooo bored or seeing women in Barbours, Barbour copies or mountaineering macs when it rains.....I have a long red raincoat that I designed to wear when I was pregnant...now it looks like a tent.

I saw a woman in Waitrose with a similar coat on Saturday except hers was circles and she had (Boden) flowery style wellies- she looked like an over-sized child.

posieparker · 26/11/2009 09:53

PP How rude!

WouldYouCouldYouWithAGoat · 26/11/2009 09:55

snort @ purple

purplepeony · 26/11/2009 10:36

sorry- but I just thought she looked ridiculous- it just screamed "Boden" in the worst possible way. It didn't help that she was large-ish too- size 14-16 I'd say.

I wanted to point her in the direction of Cbeebies.

god i haet the purple BUT I LOVE THE URBAN MAC

i am so with you , the cut of my black one is great and its so good for all this rain we have had

VinegarTits · 26/11/2009 11:15

I dont like the colour or the pattern, its like something my 6 yr neice would wear

Romanarama · 26/11/2009 12:11

There are some mummy's at school with that coat and they all look (to me, but I'm very objective) like they're trying to dress like their kids.

posieparker · 26/11/2009 13:00

OP I think you probably look gorgeous, since when did large bold floral prints become children only?? It would be a yes yes yes, in this house.

Clary · 26/11/2009 17:34

Ahh dandruff I knew you had it.

See I don't wear black but I wanted a plain one really. Just didn't dare go for the orange. A nice rich raspberry maybe or a bright bluey-purple? (Mr B please note).

Glad you all think I look so young
