I've got a dress- "Milano" I think, I love its slightly odd proportions, thinking of this for some formal do's (not into flesh exposure, and dos might be in chilly old college halls)... Whatcha reckon?
PS cannot get my head round December being upon us so quickly...

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2009 21:58

bee-yoo-ti-ful. Red or black? Are you tall? Think it could swamp a shorter person. I hear you re: December. Birthday time again!! Scary!

tempting

do their wrap tops and dresses require v low at the front bras?

AngelinaJolly · 25/11/2009 22:09

I'm average height 5'7, pear shape- so would be flattening and emphasise skinny ribcage and womanly shape, I hope. Also love the tight wrists. I think red, it's a good colour on me. And simply styled, as in photo...
Are you a Christmas baby too?

AngelinaJolly · 25/11/2009 22:16

Eldon Ave- The Milano dress that I have already is low cut but one that you defo wear long sleeved tops underneath. It's 100% cotton but so much thicker and better quality than any other cotton dress I've had.

The waist-tie on the red billow wrap dress looks high enough. I've had a couple of maternity wrap things from IO and none have shown my underwear. I am hopeful. Their 365 range is really interesting IMO.

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2009 22:23

I love tight wrists. Definitely get it. Will look fab.

Yes, am Dec 22. Will be 37!! Eeek! How about you?

Dec 21; will be 36. Feeling fine about it actually. Not PG or BF this year so will be full of seasonal cheer.

Boo at having B-day so close to Christmas tho- was a drag as a kid don't you think? Although wouldn't it be midsummer down under...

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2009 22:40

Was fine for me- dad is dec 21 so got the whole 'forgotten in the madness of Christmas' thing- so he swore that his little princess wouldn't suffer the same trauma. Hence I scored big time, on both occasions, plus school hols, summer etc.

Unfortunately for my past boyfriends and now dh, they've been expected to continue what my parents started...

I love birthdays, get ridiculously excited about my own and other people's.. Am excited about yours now!

It's nice to hear someone else getting excited about birthdays. I get very excited about my own & those of loved ones. My sister's 30th is next Wednesday & I've spent today wrapping & making so am very excited!

I like some of the IO stuff but the maternity wrap top I bought when pg put me off. It had masses of material and I used to get very flustered trying to get it on. I do really like that red dress though & have been considering the black one as an answer to several pending dress dilemmas. Their prices are pretty steep too.
