New Look. What is the sizing like for tops and dresses?

I've never shopped there but had a look online and saw a few things I like.

Do they come up big or small?

I find them a little bit on the small side tbh.

I ordered a couple of top from New Look which arrived this morning and they seem mahoosive!

I bought a cardi there in Sept size 16- bought 2 more the same size last week- far too small. In fact the 18 didn't fit
The service in ours is excellent. Good for dd (13)

So it seems to differ from item to item. I'll assume knitwear is smallish but tops bigger.

I am 16 on the bottom and 18 on top. I don't like the plus size range as much as the regular but wonder if an 18 dress would fit me.

I really want a dress for Christmas but I think I am deluding myself.

Sorry to say this but you need to try on, I have found that sizes in the same outfit can vary alot,

i find them big, i am a size 8/10 and the size 8 is a little loose

depnds on what u want to buy i used to work there for six years anyhting basic like t shirts and stuff always get size bigger as they shrink anything which is smock like i would go for size smaller
