been alternating between Johnsons that cost me £2.99 and is okay but a bit sticky, and REN which costs over £20 . Also tried Jergens.

I would spend up to £10 ish for everyday stuff- don't like strong smells, especially Nivea smell, and don't rate E45- too watery.

Clarins toning body balm or the oil. It's gorgeous and really feel it toning.

Also love the Soap&Glory one in blue tube that smells like grape and citrus - can't remember the name.

I like all the Molton Brown ones but they are over £10, about £16 now I think. Same goes for the Elemis Frangipani oil.

I had a Soap & Glory one too, not the one mentioned above but that was nice and under £10.

I'm using a Boots Botanics body butter at the moment and I really like it. It's rich and thick so you don't need too much but it sinks in really well. It has a pleasant, light smell too. I'll definitely buy it again.

I'm also using a Botanics face cream at the moment which is also lovely. Better than the Clinique one that stings my face!

I like the M&S body butter - shea nut is my favourite.

St Ives are good. Body Shop butters if you like a really thick lotion/have time for it to sink in.

My favs are Clarins or Clinique Body Butter - real treat is Acqua di Parma to match perfume. Good budget one I discovered lately is Yes to Carrots Body Butter - very rich and about euro 10 - which is less in Sterling!

I love Clinique body butter, but do think it pricey for what it is. On my Xmas list, but use so much I need an everyday one.
Might look at Soap and Glory- used to use St Ives- forgot about that. Just hate the fussy packaging of Soap and Glory.

Gatineau AHA Body Lotion. I have very dry skin and it leaves it soft and non-greasy. £24 for 400ml so not cheap but it lasts ages.

wahwah · 23/11/2009 21:16

It's got to be Clarins. Lasts well too and doesn't have that greasy feeling.
