Is there such a thing as mascara for sensitive eyes that actually does what it says?

I have really sensitive eyes, having had laser surgery on them. I never wear eye make up but on the rare occasions I go out I do like to. I've never found a mascara that actually suits my eyes- they don't water or anything, just feel gritty and sore and look red and horrid (nice).

I don't have a huge budget (well no budget really but I can try to squeeze a bit!) but would like to buy one that will work. Does anyone have any tips? I'm using a Benefit one just now, which looks fab but feels awful- I spent all last night rubbing my eyes and looked like a panda by 9.30pm!

I used to wear one by Boots No7. It was for sensitive eyes and I had no bother with it at all (wear contacts and everything bothers my eyes) and it wasnt that expensive!

Boots no 7sensitive mascara here too - never had any problems, unlike others I have tried.

I can only wear the Blinc mascara (someone on here recommended it).

It never flakes or makes my eyes water.

It lasts a good 6 months.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the no.7 one then. ITs such an expensive mistake if it doesn't suit my eyes, hence me looking for tips!

I would highly recommend it - I wouldn't wear anything else now even though you could probably get more "oomph" from others but at least it's still on at the end of the day and my other make-up hasn't run.
