How to 'plump' up my lips naturally

My lips have always been very thin and I find it hard to put lipstick on without it looking a total mess. Any tips on any products that will naturally give them a boost?

My sister swears by Benefit's Pump up the Volume.

Mac do a lip plumping lip gloss. Gorgeous shades available and does the job

I haven't tried one but would like to. I've read good things about the Soap and Glory one. I think Boots Skin Wisdom do one too.

Lip venom is pretty good too by DuWop. Stings a little when applied.
