So have finally found my dress after my ebay bargain proved to be somewhat snug. this is the dress Need some shoes to go with it preferably not open toe or sling back or sandally.

Beauiful dress, is that the colour?

What colour would you like for your shoes?

geordieminx · 19/11/2009 21:43

Beautiful - have a look on dune - some nice ones on there

monkeysmama · 19/11/2009 22:36

That dress is stunning. It's really beautiful.

What kind of shoe were you thinking then-a court shoe style? Sparkly? Muted? What size heel?

suwoo · 19/11/2009 22:39

Also just wanted to add that it is a beautiful dress, I love that colour.

JamInMyWellies · 20/11/2009 10:43

Am rubbish posted then went to bed.

Yes my dress is the same colour as the pic. Not a big fan of the glitzy shoe but am prepared to give anything a bash.

If you don't want open toe, sling back or too sandally I think what you mean is you don't want a traditional wedding shoe?

How about something like this?

you didn't say what your budget was!

these fron Dune though they are open toed

these are very weddingy

this kind of thing?

Am I getting warm?

JamInMyWellies · 20/11/2009 12:51

dont really like any of them, god will be wearing my UGGS

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 20/11/2009 13:02

emma hope bit weddingy
kurt Geiger - wrong colour/

JamInMyWellies · 20/11/2009 13:09

nope, see maybe I could wear my trainers it will be very cold.

DP has Lilac lining in his suit and both the DS will have shirts with a lilac hue to them so could have a wee bit of lilac colour to them

I don't really like any of the ones I linked to either tbh. I am not a fan of wedding shoes. So something lilac.... How high heel? Do you want an actual shoe then? How about some lilac ballet flats?

JamInMyWellies · 20/11/2009 13:18

I love high heels so up for that. Cant do ballet flats as I have really wide feet and they look rather odd on me.

TBH it could well be snowing so lovely shoes might not even come into it and snow boots and thermal long johns will be the order of the day.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 20/11/2009 13:51

some Jimmy Choos?

NorkilyChallenged · 20/11/2009 14:27

Too shiny?

Very high but maybe boring?

I'm going very high heel but looking at grey maybe as going with your dress? not much luck finding lilac at the mo. Think I'm being too boring though...

NorkilyChallenged · 20/11/2009 14:28

Unbelievably shiny

NorkilyChallenged · 20/11/2009 14:29

I like this but am currently in a Mary Poppins phase so may be unwise to listen to me

NorkilyChallenged · 20/11/2009 14:32

Speaking of Mary Poppins

Secretly want you to wear these or something like them, in NY in winter will look lurvely.
