My nose gets very easily confused in the shop so I can't go and smell them all Am leaning towards Stella but any other suggestions of what to try? I haven't worn perfume since ds was born 17 months ago so I want to get something yummy Nothing too headache inducing please

I love Coco by Chanel - very evening and expensive-smelling. Or Chance by Chanel - light and fresh but not too flowery.

Not Chanel No.5 though - smells like it comes from Avon. But that might just be on me

badietbuddy · 19/11/2009 15:52

You know, the reason I have no perfume is because with both my pregnancies my sense of smell was heightened and suddenly my perfume smelled awful to me. I had to stop wearing Coco, Ghost and Kenzo Flowers because they now make me want to hurl . Might give Chance a sniff though

Love stella two peony and gucci by gucci is gorgeous, putting both on my fantasy christmas wish list.

I am loving Be Delicious by DKNY in Green Apple for every day use. My classic fragrance is Chanel Allure.

colditz · 19/11/2009 15:55

Cinema - Yves Saint Lauren

geordieminx · 19/11/2009 16:56

I wear Ghost, Elle by Armani, Contradiction by CK, Vera Wang Princess and DKNY - also just bought he new soap n glory perfume which is in a black botle - was £15 and have had loads of compliments about it

thedollshouse · 19/11/2009 17:14

I love Ghost - the one shaped like a crescent moon. I think it smells like an evening perfume.

TennisFan · 19/11/2009 17:17

i am almost embarassed to admit to using Glow by J-Lo during the day. And if i remembe I use Coco at nights.

badietbuddy · 19/11/2009 17:20

I can't wear Ghost. Smells too 'powdery' now. I loved it before pregnancy . Also don't like contradiction, I was given a bottle of it that I never used as it smells like cigarette smoke to me I am beginning to think my nose rather than the perfume is the problem

Its funny how you smell changes - also how things smell different on other people SIL wears JPG, which always smells lovely on her but I hate it on me.

Flame · 19/11/2009 19:07

chance by chanel

diedandgonetodevon · 19/11/2009 19:13

Dior Addict is lovely and doesn't wear off too quickly either.

homicidalmummymaniac · 19/11/2009 19:25

lola by marc jacobs (though is a but pricey!) but lovely!

bebesequin · 19/11/2009 20:18

Daisy by marc jacobs -gorgeous

bluebump · 19/11/2009 20:19

Stella is lovely.

monkeysmama · 19/11/2009 20:39

I always get comments about how nice I smell when I wear Eden (cheap for a little bottle too). I also like Princess which comes in a crown-esque bottle with a horrible gold & pink ring to wear on the top (I am not suggesting you do!). Smells lovely though. I far prefer them to the Stella, Boss Woman & Daisy I have in my cupboard.

teameric · 19/11/2009 20:42

oh I really like eden too but think it's one of those love/hate perfumes for most people.
I'm using Hugo Boss Orange at the moment which is lovely
