I have already started a thread about the christening im going to this weekend but ive still had no joy. I would really like a dress thats suitable for a christening but not so formal that i wont wear it again and also it needs to be suitable to breastfeed in. I dont have a huge budget but feel what i do have may need to be increased

any suggestions?

do you know .. at the risk of being massively dull, I'm going to suggest the Boden Henley dress I know from experience that you can bf in it, it's smart enough for a christening, you can accessorise it easily, it'll look ok with the shoes you mentioned you have, you can get it for less with one of the many available discounts and if you hate it afterwards it'll have a decent resale value on ebay.

yikes, is it this weekend??

Elliebellie, I found Boob tops brilliant for nursing (I lived in them!) and I know that they do dresses as well. I have had a quick look but can't seem to find nice looking ones though ; they used to make a beautiful charcoal turtle neck dress. The one piece of advice is to make sure you get a snug fit on the chest (snug not tight; keeps the flap properly aligned).

Alternatively, a skirt and nursing top with a fancy jacket/shawl etc. that can also help cover you up. Or even a trouser suit as it is getting cooler now.

Maybe a bit late for you now but what about this?

Not tried it personally but I love Frugi kids clothes and always thought this dress was very pretty.

I am currently wearing wrap dresses or dresses with a crossover top and a strappy vest underneath. Wrap dresses pretty easy to find nowadays. x

My raspberry coloured dress from Mamaway arrived today. I can report that it's very flattering and I can see myself ordering another in the blue colour!
