What tights with these shoes?

I'm going out next Saturday - nothing major, a meal and drinks with a few girly mates, but haven't been out with the girls for so long am planning on dressing up a bit more than usual (which is hardly at all!).

Have got these shoes, and this dress in black (in long length so its knee length) - but not sure what tights to wear.
Have tried black leggings but they don't look right and black tights look a bit plain - not sure if coloured tights would look right with coloured shoes, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

charcoal tights and a berry coloured handbag if you've got one. love them both by the way esp the shoes, you'll look fab!

I love wearing coloured tights to match coloured shoes - it lengthens the leg.

I LOVE those shoes and you should be able to get a pair of "berry" tights easily enough. However, I'm not sure that berry tights/shoes will look right with a black dress. With a grey dress, yes, but I don't think it will work with black. You'll have to give it a go and see....

yeah very dark berry tights would work well too. i think if they are too light they could be a bit unflattering though so i'd go a shade darker than the shoes.

Thanks ladies - I'd never have thought of grey tights, might go for them.

I still think berry would be better (and SecretNinja is right - a shade darker than the shoes ould be good so you can then get away with the black dress...)

If you do want to go for charcoal grey, Boots do a nice pair of charcoal tights - £5 I think

Might get a pair of each and try them - has anyone seen any 'berry' coloured tights around?

someone at work had some the other day and said they were from m&s, might be a bit purply for those shoes but they may do more. do you have a good department store near you?
