Mulberry purses

My very old cheap purse has just bitten the dust so am hankering after a new one and have just seen a gorgeous brown leather Congo Mulberry one and am trying to justify it to DH that its absolutely gorgeous and will last forever.

Have never ever spent that much on myself but figure I deserve a treat once in a while-I was going to ask for money from parents/in-laws etc for chrimbo as there is nothing else I really want or need but will have to make up the rest myself so would really like to know if its worth the money if anyone has got one or had one??

I had a mulberry congo purse and matching handbag for about 4 years, until some local scrote, stole if from the back of my car.

It looked as good as the day I bought it and I miss it terribly. When I came to replace it I went down the Radley route and am very pleased with quality also.

i have the very same one and love it, the older it gets the better it looks....its classic so will never need replacing, and its big enough to hold all the crap i continue to stuff in there!

I don't have a purse but have three of their bags - all are beautiful, smell fab and wearing very well. Brown or tan leather looks better as it wears in and is a classic imo.

I hanker after the rouge noir wrinkled patent leather purse but at £195, I'll be waiting a long time! Unless they reduce it loads after Christmas...

Thats fantastic...now just need to convince DH that its an investment lol!!

Ive got a dark tan leather bag (not Mulberry unfortunately!) so I thought the brown purse would look lovely with it so glad to hear they age well.

I had a gorgeous Guess purse (not in the same league as mulberry but still lovely!) which DH got for me in New York on our honeymoon and I had that stolen and was completely heartbroken so can only imagine how you felt...it wasn't so much the money or the cards but all the other stuff I kept in it!
