Anybody permed their fringe straight??

with a home kit?!

Tell me straight, is this madness?

I would love a fringe, despite the love that curly hair is getting right now, my forehead is the most lined bit of my face. Can't afford botox. I think a fringe would suit my face but my hair doesn't lend itself well to a fringe, so,,,, tricky.

Would really love a fringe. Has always been a disaster in the past. Blowdrying it straight every time I walked past the hairdrier.

Don't go there

BitOfFun · 14/11/2009 19:59

Or here either

bigTillyMint · 14/11/2009 19:59

Have you tried frizz-ease serum and straightening irons?

BTW, don't you think it could look a bit strange if your fringe is dead straight but the rest of you hair is curly?

mustincreasebust · 14/11/2009 19:59

I thought perms where for getting the curly look, do you mean a relaxer??

How would you usually style the rest of your hair?

X post BOF!

mustincreasebust · 14/11/2009 20:01

Thanks BOF, my mind was reaching it's imaginative powers trying to work out what it would look like.

Nooooo OP don't do it!!!

mustincreasebust · 14/11/2009 20:02

oops reaching = exceeding.

MaggiePie · 15/11/2009 09:32

Thanks all, hmmmmmm, those 80s photos are food for thought.

relax my fringe yes, that's what i meant. so, bad idea..... hmmm.

I'm still tempted to try it. I've tried everything. GHDs, never again, they wreck your hair, serum, ionic hairdrier, curly gurl.

My hair still looks weird.
