for example

Funky / quirky?

Or one step away from Per Una?

Sorry but I don't like it.

I have seen similar dresses that look better (but can't for the life of me think who they're made by as saw them in a boutique)

SofaKingLoud · 14/11/2009 13:31

Found it here

I've seen it cheaper than it is on that website.

I love it, but alas haven't got the figure for it as it's not very forgiving.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 14/11/2009 13:33

ah yes, they're nicer. The Desigual stuff is in the trendy bit of our House of Frazer.

TBH, not that keen on any of it, just wondering.

Sell it in a local boutique, very popular with ladies of a certain age.
Far to fussy for me though.

Been noticing this in Fenwicks lately. It is the nouveau riche version of 'alternative' and makes me wince, sorry

AuraofDora · 14/11/2009 16:10

per una-esque
it doesnt cut it for me

Francasaysrelax · 14/11/2009 16:23

It's not my style, a bit too fussy.

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/11/2009 16:48

I like it. A lot. But I like a bit of colour.

dexter73 · 14/11/2009 16:49

I like it but I don't think I would buy it.

Dirtgirl · 14/11/2009 17:04

Some of it is alright, some is minging.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 14/11/2009 17:32

Juillet, that's it exactly.

Trying too hard.

My instinct was not to like it but I wondered if I was the only one.

Clearly not

Love love love love it - it is pretty unforgiving though as somebody had commented.

Need to be pretty petite and toned to carry off the colours and patterns convincingly.

marthastewart · 14/11/2009 21:21

Actually have the dress in the OP's link and love to wear it - always draws lots of compliments and it wonderful to wear!

thelunar66 · 14/11/2009 21:28

I've often bought Desigual stuff when i've been in Barcelona. Didn't know i could get it here now.

marthastewart · 14/11/2009 21:39

Don't think the per una comparison is fair - as that is generally for larger ladies isn't it?

dexter73 · 14/11/2009 21:40

There is a big Desigual shop at Westfield.

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 14/11/2009 21:58

Saw a lovely Desigual coat in the window of (I think) Liberty recently. I do like that Save The Queen stuff, but it's beyond my usual budget.
