Please help me find a cool dress for a winter wedding!!!

I am going to a wedding in December - not a traditional type wedding, a bit cool and modern.
I bought this dress today here not sure if link goes direct to dress, but its called 'cap sleeve gingham dress'
Its black and grey, so not sure if ok for a wedding!! Was thinking of wearing bright jacket/coloured tights to brighten up...

Am wavering though and may take it back, so looking for other suggestions.... please?!

I like the dress, but would stay away from the coloured tights (except yellow) if you want to look edgy- instead, brighten it up with chunky gold jewellery and a fur jacket. White, cream or yellow tights could be ok, otherwise I would stick to black opaques.

Ooooh, and get a hat! Something with feathers. Or a big corsage... I think yellow and black would work well with the dress.

Have you thought of looking on ebay for vintage stuff?

At the risk of sounding like a massive wanker, coloured tights could look a bit passe...

ooo i quite like the idea of yellow tights, think that might work quite well (and its ok, you dont sound like a massive wanker )

also like idea of big chunky gold jewellery, black tights (have black patent shoes) and a fur jacket....
hopefully wont look too dark coloured with the fur jacket!
