Congratulations to Lollyheart and Princesstoadstool who are going to have the very first MNTV makeover!!

Now we need all your expert advice to sort out their style!

Lollyheart would like shopping advice for the norks area (first time I've used that word!). So, if you're blessed in the upstairs dept, where do shop and what styles do you go for to make the best of your ample bosom?? She wants a great dress for a big evening out that's coming up soon. Click here to see Lollyheart's profile.

Princesstoadstool wants advice on how to dress the post baby tum area. Click here to see her profile. Stuck in a rut having finished work, she's bored of her jeans and t-shirts. So, how can she disguise your everso slightly wobbly bits and avoid her uniform of jeans and t's??

Tell us shops names, styles, items etc and we're going to gather them all together and have a good old trying on session, and come up with the best outfit. With expert advice on hand too!

Look forward to them.....

Thanks!

lollyheart · 13/11/2009 20:51

bump

AngelinaJolly · 13/11/2009 20:59

I suspect more information is needed here...

What is this MNTV makeover thing? What is MNTV? What is the expert advice you refer to in the last line?

Lollyheart- can you tell us what the event is- family meal/ date/ reunion/ birthday etc? What size and height are you? Likes/ dislikes etc...

Also PrincessToadstool's link isn't working...

Seems at bit odd TBH...

NorkilyChallenged · 13/11/2009 21:12

Where have you been people?

Here's the original thread about MNTV and if you do a search on MNTV over the last couple of months, you'll find the threads asking for people to volunteer for makeovers too. Suzie has posted before explaining that she is from MNTV.

NorkilyChallenged · 13/11/2009 21:15

Original thread started by Carrie about volunteers for a makeover, on which Suzie also posts to say the volunteers have been chosen.

But yes, Princesstoadstool's profile link isn't public....

first stop decent bras big norks deserve brilliant bras!!

Meglet · 13/11/2009 22:17

I'm not blessed in the boob department but you need to get to Rigby and Pellar, lolly.

Is this happening in London shops or home town?

As you're both blessed up top good bras are essential. Bravissimo are great value. This bra is pretty and the high lace means you won't fall out. I'm a 34DD myself and feel much happier in a bra that doesn't "spill its load" every time I bend down.

It's difficult when you have big boobs not to look matronly. Keep the neckline v shaped or low. Bravissimo have some really flattering tops and dresses. This wrap dress is a gorgeous colour and the under bust tie pulls you in at your slimmest part then skims the tummy. Could be just what you're looking for Lollyheart for your Christmas lunch with friends. Dress it up with some bright shoes or play it down for everyday wear with boots.

PrincessToadstool I've found a few dresses you might like. This Oasis knit dress is a great shape and comes in some gorgeous colours. Have a look at it in the Iris and Red (Very festive!). Fitted across the boobs but then it flares just under them so no clinging to tummy. A different shape here at ASOS but again it won't cling to your tummy area but isn't sack like as it's fitted on the thigh. Good for wearing with leggings and boots. This La Redoute dress is a fantastic price. Just £29.00! Love the slate blue colour.

Amandoh · 14/11/2009 19:01

BTW... If anyone's interested in the Oasis dresses (Or anything else at Oasis) there's 20% off at checkout if you enter 2009GRAZIA. Code runs until the 17th so you've only got a few more days.

Thanks Amandoh but not quite what i'm looking for.
I would like something more partyish iykwim.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/11/2009 15:57

I can't see any profiles.

Also what is the budget and who is paying?

JackieNo · 16/11/2009 16:22

lollyheart - are you happy to show your arms, or not?

I'd definitely agree with a good bra making a huge difference - Rigby and Peller or, failing that, Bravissimo, as Amandoh said.

fillybuster · 16/11/2009 16:29

I definitely second Amandoh on Bravissimo for underpinnings and good day-wear type things (so should be excellent for Princess Toadstool who also gets extra emotional honesty points for her last post!), but agree they're not quite partyish enough for a proper 'do'. Monsoon do some great sparkly dresses which still have straps and allow for real norks/bras to do their thing underneath.

JackieNo · 16/11/2009 16:30

Lollyheart - monsoon is always good for eveningy stuff - you could do something like this purple dress - the v-neck would be flattering to big norks. Or this one is lovely too if you're OK about having bare arms. The straps are wide enough to cover your bra straps, too.

I love this velvet dress, but it might be a bit too warm for dancing in! Might work nicely for Princesstoadstool, though, as it skims the stomach area.
