I need a party dress that I can buy in Brent Cross tomorrow

Following this thread, I'm now totally confused as to which dress, if any, to keep and I'm wondering if i could do better. Budget about £100 and I would probably prefer it if it was black as I'll get more wear out of it, I think. I'm going to Brent Cross tomorrow so I guess it's the usual High Street shops.

It's for a couple of 40th birthday parties coming up, possible Christmas do at work, etc.

Not sure if it's opened yet but Banana Republic are opening at Brent X and, if their website is anything to go by, they have some beautiful stuff - well, beautiful to me anyway, though my taste in clothes is probably pretty suspect!

Other than that, John Lewis are often surprisingly good especially for party wear.

I'm probably heading up there myself on Friday so let us know if you find anything.

From their website it looks like they're only open on Regent Street.
