It comes in maternity size too, but I think I'd rather buy a normal one so I can wear it next year too. What do you think?

Only up until about 37 weeks, after then, it would be unreasonable to deny it the leave. I presume it will be putting the little cagoule into a well-staffed wardrobe after weaning?

yes bump wise depending how pregnant you will be

the maternity one might be cut slightly longer in the front to allow for bump and therefore hang better

also slightly dependent on enhanced norkage....

Norkage is a good question. I've got huge, but I don't expect to decrease any time soon after the birth - I didn't last time, sigh.
I need to wear it now, really and through the winter (am 22 weeks and baby due in March)
I think the maternity one has a flappier front.
