GHD straighteners

I know they've probably already been discussed but I need some new straighteners and I'm wondering if its worth splashing out that much?

Are they worth the money? the ones I'm after are £116. I've heard reports that they wreck your hair and break easily but that could be said for all straighteners!! None of them are exactly good for your hair are they.

So, are they worth it or a rip off?

Hi Panscrub, I have had GHD's for 6 years now - my first pair lasted 5 years (I think£20 a year is worth it!)

I wouldn't be without them - they are so much better than any other straighteners i've ever tried, and I think they are not as damaging as other straightners. If you want to protect your hair then invest in a really good leave in conditioner.

My only caveat would be if you don't have 'mad hair' and you already have fairly straight hair - if this is the case you could probably get away with cheaper straighteners but if you have a wooly mop like mine then I wouldn't hesitate to get GHDs!

I've had my ghd's for about 5 years and they are fab. Would defo recommend.

I am regrettign getting rid of my GHDs. I sold them when I had my hair cut short but now it's grown, boy do I miss them. My hair is straight anyway, but they just give you a nice polished look really, and none of the others I've tried are as good. I have a friend who used to bend over the ironing board before she got GHDs

I've had mine at least 6 or 7 years and they are still like new. I used to use them all the time but now I have children I don't get the chance so stay curly

They are most definitely worth the money. Better than any others too

I bought my GHDs here Seemed cheaper than you are quoting. It's worth looking around.
