dh's response to this outfit was that I don't need to try and keep up with the young people anymore...is he right?

Hello.

Work do coming up and hoping to look half decent. I loved this this

with leggings and silver high heels. I'm only just over 30. Is it so terrible?!!

If it is,any suggestions welcome - I am pear-shaped,size 14,5 6, big bum, no boobs and my best features are my wrists (haha!)

Thank you!

I think you would lokk fab in that combination...depending upon where you are wearing it to would do tights not leggings since you are tallist. as for no one under 30 shops in monsoon...im 25 and have the same dress although im also short and 16 pregnant and am tryin everything to cover it up!
have fun!

do you own a comma?

itshappenedagain · 06/11/2009 19:48

Defluffmyfanjo · 06/11/2009 20:13

Is a comma more important than being able to type then?

Forgive me but aren't you the poster that types like thsi all teh tmei??

poshsinglemum · 06/11/2009 20:15

What a lovely tunic and how bizarre of your dh to make that comment.

Of course if you turned up wearing a real old ladies outfit he would not be thrilled either.

moodlum · 06/11/2009 20:17

I love it.

Can I wear it too - but I have boobs and will be 35 on Monday - does that rule me out?

Sazisi · 06/11/2009 20:21

It's lovely, and you are a mere spring chicken!

Is dh jealous because he can't wear it

Remotew · 06/11/2009 20:26

It's a lovely classy dress, just right for your age. I don't get where your DH is coming from on this one. I'd wear it and I'm much older than you.
