Will my eyebrows return to normal?

I got them waxed for the first time, I feel they look slightly ridiculous/overly waxed/not me... so will they return to there natural state, or are they completely buggered?

Should I be thinking of different kind of eyebrow topiary in the future... only tweezing (I am scared this will hurt and I will make a real mess of them).

I have mine waxed every 3 weeks so yes, they do grow back, don't worry. It may take about 6 weeks before they're completely as before.

A beautician should be able to advise on a nice shape if you think what you had was wrong for you. Sounds like you want a less 'done' look; just a little tidy up perhaps if you're happy with the basic shape.

I have mine done every three weeks but they'd probably last for longer tbh.

It's just that I do have to go every 3 weeks to get my very pale eyelashes dyed. That's what really needs doing (otherwise they disappear) and so I get my brows done at the same time anyway.

Never tried threading cos no-one near me does it. But I'd def be up for that if I could try it. I've heard it's brill.

Is threading more subtle?

Trillian have you got normal eyebrows? I will have eyebrow envy for weeks now.

I'm now minus a clump of my eyelashes thanks to me experimenting with some glue-on false lashes a few days ago.

The glue ripped them out when I was removing them. I started a similar thread wondering how long they'd take to grow again. God I hope they do!

A kind mn poster suggested some serum L'oreal make to encourage growth - I'm trying to get old of some. Not sure if it's for brows too, but I can't see why not.

I might end up looking like a werewolf if the serum worked!

The salon that removed most of my brows had an offer on false eyelashes, maybe I should have got some extra long ones, they would cover my bald look a bit?

Threading is more controllable because you can check on progress at different stages, it's not like waxing one-rip-and-it's-all-gone!
I've always had threading done by Indian/Asian genius practitioners and the look tends to be quite full-browed, but groomed, as Indian ladies (obv) tend to have quite dark eyebrows so the very skinny look wouldn't really work.
Only thing to watch for is they sometimes trim any stray spiky hairs in the middle, which looks artificial on my face, so I just go for thread, no scissors, for a more natural finish.

Having said that, I haven't been for yonks and currently look like a member of a reformed Oasis...
