What are you supposed to wear on your feet when wearing trousers with them?

I have a black fabric pair which i wear black socks or pop socks with and a goldish colour pair that I usually have bare feet with but could wear flesh coloured pop socks with. What colour are the shoes and is is a specific pair of trousers?

Boring brown for both shoes and trousers but also jeans, flesh coloured pop socks might work, socks just look odd and like I've forgotten to dress properly.-thanks for answering.

I've dumped my ballet flats until it gets a bit warmer - I think they look daft with socks and pop socks just aren't warm enough. Boots for me til Spring now!
