Gap jeans - Do they stretch?

Tried some Bootcut ones on yesterday & they fit me well. However the sales assistant was trying to shoehorn me into a smaller size on the grounds that Gap jeans stretch a lot. However they would have to stretch A LOT for me to even get the smaller size fastened!What is the truth? Don't want to end up with yet another pair of unwearable jeans!!

They do stretch a lot!

Yes they stretch, so much so that i ended up wearing a pair of my throughout most of my pg

They definitely stretch. I'd go for the tightest size you can squeeze into.

They wear really well though, the pair i worethrough my pg, i gave to my sil and she still wears them nearly 4 years on
