oooh am getting that tomorrow

tulpe · 03/11/2009 18:46

Looks fab in bright sunlight. Used mine in Greece this summer as a beach bag. Twas particularly fabulous . Also used it around and about where I live. Looked fine with regular summer clothes (not just with kaftan and bikini ).

The thing with the pewter is that it looks gorgeously bright and sparkly in sunlight but much softer in autumn/overcast light.

I use mine wearing jeans and converse as well as more dressy outfits.

Had many admiring glances in Waitrose last week. Either that or they were all thinking "WTF has Tulpe got on her shoulder????"

cocolepew · 03/11/2009 18:46

Blow back

Alaska I dress down for my job so I don't really get to dress up

[pitiful]

Themasterandmargaritas · 03/11/2009 18:47

We all wear sunglasses all the time anyway, a little more dazzle isn't going to harm.

cocolepew · 03/11/2009 18:47

ohhh I wear jeans and Converse everyday...

[ponders]

squeaver · 03/11/2009 18:58

Hmm shall I lose my Primark cherry...???

Fabster · 03/11/2009 18:58

It is "quite rare."

How ridiculous.

ABitHalloweenBatty · 03/11/2009 18:59

I've got the animal print one. It has bobbled all my clothes though at the side It doesn't do it when I have my coat on though - so be careful

I have the animal print one too - and despite being old enough to have had many bags over the years, this is the only bag people have EVER complimented me on

could look either Tracey or Trinnie depending on the rest of outfit/hair.

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 19:16

herjazz · 03/11/2009 19:17

I like it. My mate uses it as her baby changing bag

Bodeniiites · 03/11/2009 19:19

Blingtastic i love it

tulpe · 03/11/2009 19:20

Agree with Heifer actually.

My sisters nicknamed it the Chav Bag......(am I allowed to say that on MN or will I get slated?? ....twas meant in v tongue in cheek way ).

However, was renamed when I used it to store all necessary props for a visit to the Rocky Horror. Tis now known as the Slag Bag

I love though. Don't care!

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 19:20

Barnaby Bear-like as in 'here's my sequinned bag visiting Tesco'? 'Here we are eating ice cream on the pier'?

AlaskaNebraska · 03/11/2009 19:26

good time for my name change then.

I will take a look to give it a fair shout. Although will have to look on the Wirral,as I suspect it will sold out in Liverpool
