Looking for trousers (nice looking) that fit like track bottoms (e.g. super comfy)

Hi everyone

So what I'm after is trousers that look like 'nice' trousers, but that fit/are comfortable like track suit bottoms. Or something close to. Can anyone help?

Closest thing I've got at the moment is a couple of pairs of Uniqlo 'stretch bottoms' in black.

But these are still a bit pyjama-like and bulge at the knee as I am crouching or sitting cross-legged a lot with DS.

Any ideas for these or even other articles of clothing that fit into the category of 'looks like normal clothing, fits like loungewear' are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Something like THIS?

zozokatholicplot · 02/11/2009 17:10

Hey, not bad! thanks Buda

Have you got a pair? Jersey is very stretchy -- might bulge even worse than my uniqlos (or maybe they keep their shape very well ? )

Some at M&S.

those look promising too ?

would it be too much to ask for slim- or stovepipe legs rather than flares?

I don't have a pair but I keep meaning to order some!

Buda · 02/11/2009 17:37

Voila! Straight-leg!

zozokatholicplot · 02/11/2009 17:44

Great!

(though musn't tuck shirt into trousers as in photo ;) )

Someone, maybe cybil of the many names, posted about the M&S ones, apparently they are much nicer in RL.

Buda · 02/11/2009 17:52

Well of course zozo! I know LandsEnd is not exactly high end fashion but for something basic like this they should be ok. I am about to order some for me. Might look at the M&S ones too though.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 02/11/2009 18:22

I have these

They are quite wide legged but super comfy and look like normal trousers rather than tracky bottoms.

zozokatholicplot · 02/11/2009 18:24

Cool. Let me know how they are, Buda

I could check out the M&S ones fairly easily -- Land's End more of a gamble though I suppose they could always get sent back ?
