Anyone seen any good ones?

I had a cold head on the school run this morning.

god no I hate those hats

I like this one but hate hat hair so never wear one unless I can keep it on

momijigari · 02/11/2009 11:04

I like the colour of that one ggirl, but I need a hat to cover my ears, that keeps out the gale force winds.

I have looked at whitestuff (got distracted looking at wooly dresses and tunics) and fatface so far... where else?

pull this one down over your lugholes

brimfull · 02/11/2009 11:19

ta daa!

actually there are trapper hats everywhere

are you young? can you get away with one?

I would look unhinged

MadameDuBain · 02/11/2009 11:22

I nearly bought a nice grey, fairisle-style bobble hat in accessorize at the weekend - was going to cut the bobble off though and make it into a beanie. It was lovely and long to cover ears.

(I might still get it but I'd told myself I would try to knit one so resisting so far.)

momijigari · 02/11/2009 11:28

Lol at the balaclava.

I got asked for proof of age when I wore a wooly trapper style hat last year! (it must have hid my grey hairs and distracted the person so much she didn't notice my wrinkles. (Maybe she just thought no one mature enough to know better would wear such a ridiculous hat, which I then left on a train)

I am 36, I like the M&S one and need to order ds some more trousers, so I might get that... I do need two hats, so will keep looking, but cheers ggirl.

I want some long gloves like these for the school run

momijigari · 02/11/2009 11:33

UK this is quite nice?

MadameDuBain - I knitted a tea cosy at primary school, but I was rubbish at knitting, I would buy the hat.

And monsoon have a lovely sequin hat in at the moment (like Carries in SATC), if you think you can pull it off

momijigari · 02/11/2009 11:35

Do you want them in a different colour Sherby? I saw some a bit like that in t.k.maxx the other day.

OP posts:
sherby · 02/11/2009 11:35

oooo

what colours did they have

momijigari · 02/11/2009 11:40

Just spotted this but I don't think I could pull it off.

I remember a stripey pair, dark red and lighter red, and plain green. I am not sure they were any cheaper than the Next ones.

M&S have pale grey 100% cashmere wrist warmers that I really, really want. They also have matching berets but they are far too big for my ridiculously tiny head.
