I may be a few centuries behind the rest of you but I have done it!!

Ok so I have long hair and i only took three inches off (this time!) but I did it... Funny but it was less scary than going to the hairdressers...

One tip I would give though is to make sure you are using sharp scissors... mine weren't and made it harder through my thick hair
