I always thought she was a lightweight.

sherby · 31/10/2009 19:46

I don't know about boots but I bought new shoe boots today and have about 2 cms of skin between the top of them and bottom of trouser/jeggins etc

tis weird

sherby · 31/10/2009 19:47

I have a thread on it

hint hint

cornsilkwearscorsets · 31/10/2009 19:47

shoe boots. tsk

cornsilkwearscorsets · 31/10/2009 19:48

Boots or shoes sherby. Boots or shoes.

sherby · 31/10/2009 19:49

they are lovely lace up brogue type ones if it helps

aarghhelp · 31/10/2009 19:50

I went to TK Maxx today and tried on various Frye boots, none of them right. Tottery heel platform shoe boots, sure they would have been very uncomfortable. Lace-up front long boots, supposedly a UK size 10 (!). I am an 8 and couldn't get my foot into them let alone do them up. Not a single suitable boot. Next stop has got to be Duo...

AlaskaNebraska · 31/10/2009 19:51

oh i dont like them

too butch

OP posts:
sherby · 31/10/2009 19:53

sherby · 31/10/2009 19:54

I'm just gonna wear them with tights I think

i am still hankering after these...sigh...
i want them so much

Aubergines · 01/11/2009 15:53

Not sure about those Dotty P ones.
Aren't they a bit Pretty Women?

I do need a nice pair of flatish black boots though. But I prefer ones that come just below the knee. Have yet to find nice ones this year.

MayorNaze · 01/11/2009 15:55

this is my dilemma - i have no wish to be mistaken for a lady of the night or puss in boots.

i think they actually look quite classy on. but have yet to see anyone at all in rl wearing this type of boot...am wondering if perhaps there is a reason for this...

but still i want them...

OHhhhh girls....

I'm welling up here

I never knew you cared

CybilLiberty · 01/11/2009 18:51

BUT GUESS what I might need some pale grey sexy shoe boots for a ball, waddya say, eh? eh? eh?

cornsilkwearscorsets · 01/11/2009 19:15

shoe boots not sexy cybil [stern look]

CybilLiberty · 01/11/2009 19:16

I think they can be...with tanned limbs and a swagger. Or am I channelling Gisele Munchkin or whatever she's called?

cornsilkwearscorsets · 01/11/2009 19:19

tanned limbs in November though? I can't do the swagger so am biased.

CybilLiberty · 01/11/2009 19:22

fake tan

it's for a ball and I'm wondering if shoe boots might look a bit more edgy with my dress than my silver peep toe dancing shoes

cornsilkwearscorsets · 01/11/2009 19:26

I need to see the dress. I feel all frustrated.

CybilCybilCybil · 01/11/2009 19:38

can't link bought it last year.
