Well.. i gave birth to my daughter Rosie 2 weeks ago, the final addition to our brood of girls... I have another 2 - Elizabeth 4 and Grace 2!!

So as you can imagine im a rather harassed 24 year old busy mummy, and housewife and looking back on
pictures of myself in pre child days i notice i have lost my style and furthermore my confidence My husband says he thinks i look fabulous but im unconvinced.

I am currently a pear shaped post baby size 16 but aiming for a 12 eventually, and i just do not know what to do with myself in the meantime?? Iv the typical english rose complexion, blue eyes and dark blonde shoulder length hair and i just feel well... rather plain!!

My hairdresser suggested i go brunette as it would 'warm' my skintone ... but im unsure... does anyone have any idea what colours (clothing hair and makeup wise) may suit?? I really need my confidence back!!

Firstly, I think that you should be taking it easy and not being so hard on yourself. You have an awful lot on your hands and your DD3 is still tiny. I am sure that you are fabulous and I'm glad that your DH thinks so.

I find that wearing strong colours stops me feeling plain and dowdy. You could try avoiding black/grey and go for strong colours such as purple or jade green which should bring out your eye colour.

Are you naturally a brunette? If so, then I would agree with your hairdresser and think that you should give being darker a try.
