hi there, looking to order a coat online, what scale would you say french connection sizing on, i.e. sized larger than say topshop size 8?

cheers

I love French Connection as it has such lovely clothes and the sizing is generous. I would say more generous that Top Shop imo, I am a size 10-12 but can fit into small, or size 8s for tops and size 10 for bottoms.

tiny tiny clothes
or I am just a fat biffa

I think it's about accurate, or maybe on the slightly smaller size depending on the cut. So a size 12 would be a size 12 or maybe an 11?

Eh? Am I the only one who thinks that FC clothes are cut big then?

Loads of other shops are cut smaller than FC imo, in Monsoon for instance I am probably a size 14 (not that I would buy any of their hideous clothes anyway) and also in Kookai and All Saints I can never fit in the equivalent of their size 10. Am a size 10 (and size 8 in some tops) though in Dorothy P, Top Crap, FC and M&S.
