What's the general feeling on these?

can go either way rockabilly/bet lynch, depends.

MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 10:35

With skinny jeans, long sleeve tee, long cashmere cardi?

Stake, have you namechanged? You are familiar, but your name isn't....?

sounds cute, worn like that

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/10/2009 10:41

I'm all for them. In fact in my quest for a perfect green purple pair of pumps I would consider a pair of leopard print ones, instead. Tell me if you find a good pair LTEC.

stakethroughtheheartofgold · 29/10/2009 10:43

oh didn't spot it was you ltec, on you will be fiiiiine.

was millenniumfalcon/mwff, now heartofgold, currently in fancy dress.

traceybath · 29/10/2009 10:43

I love them - but I love a bit of leopard.

Have got a pair of leopard print shoes that I have worn to death with straight leg indigo jeans.

Always get people saying how lovely they are.

traceybath · 29/10/2009 10:45

You're not shopping are you? I presume this is purely market research

MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 10:48

Birthday present from my dad... So it's not me shopping, it's me helping him not to waste his money LOL

OP posts:
BudaBones · 29/10/2009 10:49

Sounds nice. If you find some link please!

Seededbiatch · 29/10/2009 10:49

I love my leopard print pumps, in fact I think I need new ones, I've worn these ones out.

MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 10:50

Traceybath, I must confess to some chocolate scoffage last night....

OP posts:
MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 10:52

Well I did see some decent ones for about £30 in Office the other week, but am now looking at some Pump &Circumstance ones... Don't think the birthday budget will stretch to French sole and I deplore the whole toe cleavage thing...

Bit of a cliche. Reminds me of Tessa Jowell wearing some leopard shoes!

traceybath · 29/10/2009 11:38

I too had chocolate last night but it was dark and had nuts in it so practically a health food.

Fruitbeard · 29/10/2009 12:46

They've got them in M&S at the moment (half-sizes, yay!) - wouldn't wear them myself but I can see they'd look good with the skinny jeans thing...

SuzeMcG · 29/10/2009 13:03

I love them. Russell and Bromley always have great leopard print ballet pumps.

dexter73 · 29/10/2009 19:03

My dh thinks they are worn by older women trying to look a bit 'with it'. I like them but I have to say I agree with him.

BEAUTlFUL · 29/10/2009 19:08

Top Shop has some lovely ponyskin zebra ballet pumps.

MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 21:36

older women trying to look with it ... yikes, scarily accurate

ah well, I've bought 'em now. Thanks dad

I love Leopard print. M&S have some nice Zebra ones at the mo too.

AngelinaJolly · 29/10/2009 22:09

Yay- if they are a punctuation to otherwise demure outfit; great with long dark skinnies.
Nay- if it's to match your chiffon blouse/ handbag or with beige.

which ones did your dad get?

AngelinaJolly · 29/10/2009 22:09

for you!

MustNotEatCake · 29/10/2009 22:17

LOL at the thought of my dad in leopard pumps!!

am going to give these a whirl

OP posts:
ADifferentMe · 29/10/2009 22:20

I have the Autograph ones and I'm the older woman described by Dexter's DH! I am 47 fwiw.

I wear them either with skinnies and cashmere or black Zara ankle skimmers and a white shirt.

RamblingRosa · 30/10/2009 08:38

I've got some really nice ones from New Look with a red trim (piping round the edge and a tiny bow). I think they look great. DP took the p*ss out of me when I got them but I think he decided they were sexier than my usual black pumps after he saw them on so he's stopped laughing at me

I wouldn't spend a fortune on them though as they're the kind of thing you might go off after a while. Better to get some cheap ones IMO.
