BODEN veterans- what's your oldest Boden buy?

Mine was what they called a Poacher's Jacket- it was hideous, and I gave it to the charity shop ages ago. I must have bought it about 14 years back. It was a canvas ( green) jacket with large pockets inside and out and a brown cord collar. I thought at the time it looked "countryfied"- now I realise it made me look like a man. it was too big, too heavy and generally shapeless.

My best wearing bits are 2 lamby fleeces which are ages old and have been washed to death a million times- I only wear them for gardeing and slopping round the house.

Anyone?

Mine is a cotton mac. It's finishes mid-thigh, A-line. It is red with a white flower pattern on. Sounds dreadfully Boden and I guess it is but I still love it and wear it now and get compliments from non-Boden wearing friends . I bought it about 6 years ago in the sale for £50 instead of £90.

I have a pinkish double breasted mid thigh summer canvas coat with a gorgeous lining from years ago - I forget how many but it is a favourite and washes well and is excellent quality. Think it was about £90 worth every penny.

I have a v-neck long sleeve hot pink top with a velvet-edged neckline in lilac which must be a good 10 years old and was the first thing I ever bought from them, before I even discovered MN and it's obsession with it! (it was in the sale, like everything I ever buy from there...).

It's held up remarkably well, washes beautifully and the fabric is excellent quality - a lot nicer and thicker than the stuff they're doing these days .

Oh- I had that top too fruitbeard- i think I gave it to the charity shops before I discovered Ebay! It was bought as part of my pink phase which I have now outgrown!
