Leather trousers

I am going to get some leather trousers. I had some made 10 years ago which I adored but could only fit a calf (of my leg, not a small cow) into now.

I like these but think the style will be out of fashion next year and I want a pair I can wear for a few years if I fancy.

These are going to be one of my special luxury items so I am prepared to spend some money on them and wonder if it is worth going for something designer instead.

Amyone know anything about leather trews?

I am a size 12. Used to be a 6-8 when I last had a pair. Is a 12 too big? I have stupidly long legs (my torso is very short) and a decent bum.

Thanks ladies. I am excited about this purchase. Think I need a baby free day to try some on. Pity I can't take a few MN girls with me Gok style.
