right, so maybe this belongs on the weight loss boards but for me it's a matter of S&B as I can't wear my favourite clothes until this baby weight is off. Besides, I don't know anyone over there.

So, will you help me to get back to 10 stone by Xmas?? please?? That's 20 lb to lose, baby

Bub is 4 weeks old now so it's time. DH is not being particularly supportive (as in, won't listen to me witter on) so will you take on that role?

Yes, get a mini trampoline if you don't already have one. It doesn't take up much room, other than a supportive bra you don't need any special clothes to use it. Although, if you are going to embark on an indoor exercise programme you probably ought to treat yourself to something from Sweatty Betty. And, all that boinging is quite fun.

i agree with stake. so i will offer you lots of support on general healthy eating, lots of fruit and veg but NO DIETING [stern voice]

i am one of those women who don't lose weight while bf but lots of mums find that the weight just falls off them without trying.you might be one of these lucky ones

I'm going for 10 by 2010 when I get back from hols. Just done Vorderman and lost 1/2 stone in three weeks. It's difficult for me to do the whole detox thing with the travelling I do so will be watching what you eat with interest - got v bored with soup and fruit.

am v tempted by these.

Have been quite good today but so hard to resisit the children's yummy food but 'mummy's two dinners' is not the route to my size 8 jeans.

my clothing ban prevents me from buying fab exercise gear but I did buy some yoga pants while preggo, they'll do for now until I'm back in my running gear.

Luckily dcs 1 & 2 were very enthusiastic about today's rice, veg & lentil offering. And I had dinner with them so that I can go to bed at a reasonable time without feeling bloated.

I did have one chocolate coated sesame snap - so annoying that they come in packs of three although when dc3 is older I'll no longer have that excuse ....

LTEC, I totally understand why you want the weight off asap and I will support you in doing so. But, 2 stone by xmas is defo way too much too fast, esp if breastfeeding.

It has taken me 7 and a half months to lose 2 stone 11 pounds. I've done it by eating 2000 calories a day (what a woman should eat) and just letting BF which uses 500 calories take the weight off.

TBH, i would not recommend doing anything more severe than this when nursing and looking after a young baby. Also,no food is limited on 2000 cals a day so you can have treats, snacks, choc, cake, wine, whatever as long as you don't go over 2000 . It means you are more likely to stick to diet and maintain the weight loss after. Looking after a baby is hard work, don't make things harder by being cruel to yourself and banning all things tasty and treat like! The weight will come off. Tell yourself that being slightly bigger than normal for a little while is a small price to pay for 3 beautiful little dc . This little mantra cheered me up and on when i could not get into my clothes!
