TK Maxx have an embarassment of jeans, including lots of designer ones. I would spend an hour or two riffling the racks there.

southeastastra · 24/10/2009 16:28

these but stretch, why don't you want stretch?

Blackduck · 24/10/2009 16:41

Hum those next ones aren't bad....
I just hate stretch, feels all wrong somehow...

keep their shape though and feel softer (imo!)

Amandoh · 24/10/2009 17:12

Topshop? The pair in the link is only 1% elastane so there should be very little stretch. I know what you mean about not wanting stretchy jeans. I think it makes them go baggy at the knees and after a while the waist gapes and you have to keep pulling them up.

Blackduck · 25/10/2009 07:47

but southeast I love it when my jeans (sans stretch) get really old and soft and start to fall apart! Tried on a pair in m&s today and they all have stretch in them and I felt like I was being squeezed into a sausage skin....don't mind leggings feeling like that, but not jeans (and NOBODY mention jeggings fgs...)

Those Next jeans are foul in real life
Back to the drawing board - anyone else got any ideas?

If you want that 'lived in' look then boyfriend jeans are the way forward.

They may still have a bit of lycra in to keep their shape but they will be more relxed in fit and less like a sausage skin.

Not sure about the whole 'light denim' thing tho.

I would have a look in Gap and try a few pairs on.

Blackduck · 28/10/2009 07:42

I mean light as opposed to navy blue - does that make sense??

CybilAviationAuthority · 28/10/2009 07:42

Phew yes I thought you meant bleached denim

Blackduck · 28/10/2009 08:40

God no, NOT bleached......
