Blue moccasin slippers.

I am on the sofa, still in my dressing gown! I'm having a day off today after a horrendous last 6 weeks.

So there!

If I was going to work and not ill at home I would be wearing grey Converse to get there, and then changing into a very lovely pair of 4-inch heeled, dark red Poste Mistress shoes with high sides (almost like a shoe-boot but not quite), and black detail. They are a thing of beauty, a joy forever, and bloody uncomfortable - I'm hoping more wear will loosen them up a bit.

There, is that better?

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 23/10/2009 11:48

Brown low-top Converse with orange stitching and dirty toes

TheCappster · 23/10/2009 11:50

that's very interesting indeed actually

I have started wearing ballet flats on the way to (very rare) nights out etc and then changing into heels when I get there because I have a bad knee and I can't walk far in them

I wondered if it was a bit sad. It's not a bit sad, is it?

OP posts:
MissWooWoo · 23/10/2009 11:51

I'll be trotting out in these

kidcreoleandthecoconuts · 23/10/2009 11:52

I don't wear shoes in the house so I've got grey with white spots fluffy socks on. Later for school run I'll be wearing pink converse.

whoooooisasking · 23/10/2009 11:52

Brown ankle biker boots from Gap.

One of the straps keeps coming undone. I might superglue it to the buckle.

PumpkinsCantDanceTheTango · 23/10/2009 11:53

Mine are naked as I am sitting on bed. But when I go to work I will have on fake uggs - black.

Slubberdegullion · 23/10/2009 11:53

When I head out I will be donning last year's Clarks conversy type trainers in lovely pewter.

daisyj · 23/10/2009 11:56

It's not sad, Cappster, it's practical. At 37 (and 7 months post baby) my knees aren't what they where, either. And we can't all be hailing cabs left, right and centre a la SATC. Some of us have to take public transport. And think how much more wear you get out of your beautiful shoes (not to mention your knees) if you're not pounding pavements in them.
