so I really really like the shirt I am wearing today

and it was £8 from Primark.

proper flanny (do you call it brushed cotton over here??) and press stud buttons (ace for bfing) good shape (in at waist, skims hips) good details (press stud fastenings to secure rolled shirt sleeves etc) and good colourway (brown/ black/ white)

so it won't last the season but hey, neither will my current fondness for plaid ..

very glad I sent that Toast dress back!!

I like that toast dress (although I think you said it was too thin didn't you LTEC?). But, having said that it's the sort of thing that I'd be chuffed with at £39 in the sale not £79 now!

I bought myself a plaid shirt this week for the first time in about 15 years - DH thought it was hilarious - asked if I was going to sixth form college!
I got this one from top shop. It's less red and more bright orangey-coral check irl and just long enough to wear over leggings with a long cardy.
