Please help build me an outfit around this skirt and advice on colours reqd too

this skirt arrived this morning - am really pleased with it. Love the colours. Was planning to wear it on hols next week with little navy/brown vest top (not yet purchased but surely top shop will have?), bare legs and these sandals but in black patent.

So far so good, but was also thinking I could wear on my return with navy opaques, these brown knee high boots and ....um....and....um.....would long cardy over a fitted long sleeve top look ok? what colour?
I just bought this military style cardy - nice no? but I think it needs another layer underneath, maybe a rollneck. In the limegreen colour of the pattern on the skirt?

Also, if I "am" the colours of this skirt what am I in color-speak - jewel autumnal? zesty springtime?

bah, you don't need any help - you've got it totally sussed. Will look great. Not that Monsoon cardi though - something softer, flowier, less structured.

hi cake, yes kept boots in the end but not worn them much as yet as am saving for after half term when I will step up into full winter-mode!!

How goes the no-buying thing? I am verging on the compulsive when it comes to shopping although I tend to binge on purchases for a while then stop. Whenever I think I've bought too many items for myself I switch to buying for the dd's Children's clothes don't "count" in my book. I would be rubbish at giving up so am not going to try!!!

BTW I am not trying to enable anyone but it's free shipping on everything at the outnet till 25th Oct

not buying is going fine ... luckily the combination of work & the kids has kept me too busy to shop this week!!
