Had three sessions trailing around the shops and I can't find any shoes I like. So where's good to look online?

?

bibbitybobbitycat · 22/10/2009 18:16

Hmmm, hmmm, those Fly ones are not bad cyteen, but why do all casual shoes now have to look like they're made of old tyres? And posh ones like porn star shoes?

Actually, those are the closest so far. Macaroon's are too shiny, but thanks for lookin.

MacaroonIncident · 22/10/2009 19:40

they have other colours

bibbitybobbitycat · 22/10/2009 19:48

ok will look again.

This always happens. I go on a mission for shoes. I don't find. I end up buying in my local shoe shop (Clarks). Same shop as I get the dc school shoes and wellies fgs.

I love those Fly london ones actually. Their shoes look lovely, though I've only ever seen them online, not in real life or tried them on.

Too shiny?

Not enough of a heel

Toooooo much heel

Made from tyres? I like this, also in blue or tan

I personally adore these but they are ridiculously pricey

NorkilyChallenged · 22/10/2009 20:08

Different Fly London ones here though a bit Dr Marten shoes-like which you might not like

bibbitybobbitycat · 22/10/2009 20:17

Ooooh I quite like those other Fly ones Norkily. Do they have an actual shop? Does Nine West still exist? I used to get shoes in there.

Thanks for taking an interest .

Have you looked at the Kurt Geiger website? the KG brand ones are £££ but I am a big fan of Carvela - very nice shoes and not crazy money. Sorry haven't looked to see if they have style you describe but Carvela generally do variation on mary jane style every winter.

momijigari · 22/10/2009 20:49

these in red, not sure if they come in other colours, but I have them, nearly wore them out, they are easy to wear all day.

PutDown · 22/10/2009 21:16

I've got Macaroon's Bamboo Palm Clark's ones in charcoal patent and have worn them loads.Comfy too.

RhodaMorgenstern · 22/10/2009 22:08

different Fly shoes but in red

This is a good site for looking at stuff from different shops. Some of the items are eye-wateringly expensive but there are normal prices in there as well - www.shopstyle.co.uk/
