Boring I know but where do petite ladies get their jeans from?

Please no skinny jeans! I detest them and are so unflattering on me. I'm size 8, 5'2".

I used to get them from Topshop but they're all skinny style at the moment.

Next, I'm afraid. Don't know where else to go. I'm 5' nothing and size 8.

And I ALWAYS have to turn them up.

CarGirl · 20/10/2009 21:14

Just got some bootleg ones from Tesco (teens section) and boyfriend ones in the adults bit.

There were about 8 different styles in tesco in short fitting and only half skinny fit.

I'm 5' and an 8-10

Marks, Wallis - although they are still quite long, I know Monsoon do petite jeans but I've not seen them in shops only online.

meltedmarsbars · 20/10/2009 21:15

I find Monsoon too big on the waist.

randomeuro · 20/10/2009 21:15

Replay, Diesel and Benetton all have leg length for the petite. Also look at Designers at Debenhams; Conran and Rocha both have a petite range iirc.

littlerach · 20/10/2009 21:15

Next are ok.
Am 5'1 and size 10.

Most of the rest seem too long and are only to be work with heels/wedges.

Elemental · 20/10/2009 21:18

I am a recent convert to New Look's £10 Bootcut jeans, just the right length and the black and indigo look really good.

I've just got some cords from the Tesco website that are lovely too, really soft and spot on length-wise. Haven't tried their jeans but I might give that a go next time I'm looking.

stakethroughtheheartofgold · 20/10/2009 21:18

dotty p do 3 leg lengths, i found their skinnies the best fit of any i've tried, but they do loads of styles. cheap jeans often look it imho but i was pleasantly surprised by the dp ones.

sheeplikessleep · 20/10/2009 21:19

Next and USC do branded ones that often come in length 30. I'm 5ft1 too, but I think I shrink them

notunique · 20/10/2009 21:27

Thanks for responses!

Sigh, I did have my eye on some second hand Diesel ones on Ebay but my bid didn't even go through and they cost a fortune on their website.

Vero Moda have very nice jeans and not skinny. £55 so not as cheap as Topshop but worth a look.

Clure · 20/10/2009 22:09

River Island do a shorter length leg - I'm 5'1 and size 8 and had some lovely bootleg ones a couple of summers ago (think they still do the style - "sexy bootleg") and they are a good length with high heels

MrsMuddle · 20/10/2009 22:17

I second Elemental's suggestion of New Look. They do 28, 30 and 32 lengths, and they on;y cost a tenner. I've bought three pairs the same, because I was so pleased to find jeans that fit!

Linnet · 20/10/2009 22:21

I'm 5'2" and I get my jeans from Next petite range, I still have to turn them up though.

GrimmaTheNome · 20/10/2009 22:25

I'm 5'1" and Next petites are just a tadge long but not so much that I need to turn them. I've got some Per Una bootcuts on now which are perfect.

sundew · 20/10/2009 22:34

I get mine from Dorothy Perkins - I'm 5 foot and a size 10. They fit really nicely - and look good on too.

ABitBatty · 20/10/2009 22:42

I'm 5'1" and Next petite are too long for me too.
I have had perfect length jeans before from Matalan though, bootcut ones.

paddingtonbear1 · 20/10/2009 23:11

I like River Island.
My last pair though came from TU at Sainsbury's - they do shorter length as well
